Day 24 Cruise Day 13 Last Full Day at Sea

This is our last full day on the ship, and it is a sea day. I didn't feel like going to the gym. I tried to go to the walking track, but they have it blocked off due to high winds.

We went to the comedy cooking demonstration at 10, followed by an abbreviated kitchen tour.

We split a pizza for lunch in the Alfredo's pizzerria dining room.  They do a nice job. They also gave Paul a fancy dessert and sang happy birthday for him. We were celebrating a couple days early.

Then went back to the room to finish packing. We realized our itinerary has been changed by Princess. We went to try to inquire at the hotel desk, but no one knows anything about it, so they sent us to the shore excursion desk and also told us to call Princess. We called and they're closed. So, I guess we end up missing our trip to Darwin and the excursion to the jumping Crocs. The things they substituted in for going to another location we don't know anything about, but maybe they're good. We will have to see.

We had dinner at the Crown Grill. I had lobster, Paul had a rib-eye steak.

Cheesy garlic bread

Then we had dessert and celebrated Paul's birthday a 2nd time.

Our plan of the evening is to go find our pictures, download to a flash drive or our phones, and then find the bar for meeting for departure tomorrow at 7:20am. Well, apparently, we did it wrong. We were supposed to have our selected ones to download turned into them so they could print them, oops. They have somebody furiously working to print them as we speak, and they should be ready in about an hour.

The bar for our departure tomorrow is adjacent the casino. That's a place we haven't really been to, since we are not gamblers. Good thing, since we both suck at gambling.

Tonight's show is rock music with the Princess World Orchestra. We went a half-hour early and all the good seats were already taken. I brought napkins for ear plugs. Good thing, as it was loud. They played Paul's kind of music: Eric Clapton, Queen, Led Zepplin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Journey, and Kiss; all in a 45-minute set. They sounded really good for bunch of covers.
