Day 13 Cruise Day 2 Tauranga port of call
I got up at 6 and went to the gym; Paul joined me a short time later. Washed my gym clothes in the shower and hung them on the balcony chair to dry. Watched the Wake show on the stateroom TV. The Wake show is created by the cruise director each day to provide a quick overview of what's going on that day. We don't dock in Tauranga until 10am. Our excursion leaves from the Symphony dining room at 11:15. Our trip is a cultural one to a Maori village. We went for breakfast, then to a trivia game, then to our departure lounge. I checked on our charges. It is $1300 AU dollars or $800 us. That is 1 acupuncture tx, 3 couples massages, an ointment, and an oil. We met 1000 of our closest friends in the Symphony lounge and waited for green 11 to be called. Walked out to our bus for a 90-minute ride to the Maori village. The bus was cold.
